What are you currently reading? Right now I’m reading Troubled Waters by Sharon Shinn. I’m not quite halfway into it yet but its already grabbed me. One of the things I found most interesting about this story was the fact that the people in this world receive “blessing coins” that describes a facet of their personality or the direction their life may take. Each of these blessings represent a form of Earth, Air, Fire, or Water. A newborn baby is given their initial blessing coins from 4 strangers with no thought to social standing, for example, a nurse, a prostitute, a teenager, and a doctor would be appropriate choices to give the baby a blessing coin. Fascinating world.

But, it's absolutely worth it. Not only has my own enthusiasm for reading increased ten-fold (which is really bad for my wallet, which already had a hefty book budget) but I've found so many new books through the Waiting on Wednesday hop, and I've found so many great blogs and people through the Follow Friday and Book Blogger Hop!I wish you luck!!!

Blog Hopper here! I did it last week and fell in love with it! I remember once, I started to read a book and I just didn’t like it. A couple of years later, I picked it up again (yes, I forgot I’d read part of it). This time my tastes had changed and I absolutely Loved the book from the start to finish. So you never know. If you can’t get into it, put it aside for another time. I do.Ummm, Follow Friday recommended read: Trouble in a Stetson by Regina Carlysle.Followed you!
